The Country Kids Learning Centre is a non-profit registered charity corporation, which provides care for children between 2 – 12 years of age. We are a provincially licensed child care centre that is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Our Preschool Program is licensed and fully funded for 16 spaces. The Preschool centre is located at 1023A Hwy 26. Our Before and After School program is licensed for 55 spaces and funded for 38 spaces. The Before and After School program is located at the St Francois Xavier Community Centre, which is next door to the St. Francois Xavier Community School. We offer full-time, part-time, Kinder-care and casual care.

Our qualified friendly and dedicated staff are committed to providing the highest quality of care to your children. We are passionate, caring, and respectful of each individual child and value their families. We encourage open communication between parents and the staff at our childcare centre.

Our staff are classified by the Manitoba Child Day Care Office. Each staff must go through a criminal record and child abuse registry check and maintain current First Aid and CPR training.

The Centre came about through the hard work and dedication of a number of Country Kids Learning Centre’s (formerly the SFX Nursery School) Board of Directors. The move towards forming a full time, licensed program of childcare in our community was initiated by the 2006-2007 Board and continued with the 2007-2008 Board. The Centre officially opened in October of 2007 and began with a Preschool Program followed by the opening of our School Age Program in January of 2008.

Our preschool centre is open year round , Monday to Friday 6:45 am – 6:00 pm

School Age Hours of Operation

The school age centre is open Monday to Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The school age centre is open for in-service days, spring break, winter break and summer holidays.
